Clarence "Kool" Stewart is the Founder and CEO of the A Face in Every Race Foundation, dedicated to addressing gang and domestic violence, juvenile delinquency, and unequal access to health resources. His mission is to empower overlooked voices and unite communities in the fight for justice and equality. Born in Los Angeles as the third of six children and the son of a U.S. Army veteran, Kool grew up surrounded by music, art, and strong values of self-reliance. At sixteen, he founded a youth group promoting peace and respect, offering positive alternatives to gang life. His passion for music and community engagement later led him into the entertainment industry, where he collaborated with major artists and honed his leadership skills. Surviving a life-threatening shooting in 2008 reshaped his outlook and strengthened his commitment to making a difference. Today, Kool channels his experiences into building bridges across communities, mentoring youth, and ensuring every individual has a face and a voice in shaping a brighter future.
